    Ending the Longest Reigns

A topic that has been floating around alot is the discussion of who is going to take the title from Roode. I am interested to hear the opinions of the IWC on these topics

    (1) Who should take the WHC off Roode and when?

    (2) Who should take the X Title off Aries and when?

    (3) Is Devon's "Fighting Champion" gimmick doing anything to help make the TV title worth something?

Thought this could go 5,000 ways so I am wondering what you guys think on this one. I am also interested in hearing why the people you pick deserve the right to take the belt off of champions who have held the belts for so long.

1: I'm thinking either Kurt Angle or Aj Styles should take the title preferably Styles though
2: I don't know but right now Sabin seems to be the man
3: I just see it as Devon burying everybody

only just started getting tna over here in NZ and im realy enjoying it but dont realy know to much about there past but to answer your question.

!. not to sure who i would like to see beat roode for the title but have a feeling it might be james storm (please not sting)

    2. dont know enough x division guys to comment on this one was impressed with that sabin guy though

    3. would really like to see bully ray as tv champion i am hugely impressed with how solid he is as a singles wrestler

I want Angle or Aries or Bully Ray(best heel at the moment) to win the world title
I want Aries to lose the X-Division title from RVD or Hardy because Destination X is coming and move on for the world title
Devon he's trying but he is still not that good.Mr Anderson should win that title or a returning Pope

What Arsenal fans think about RVP moving to UTD:

    1. I like the idea of Styles taking it, but not sure if it will happen. The angle he is currently in is kind of holding him back from the WHC. If anything, it sets him up for a "re-boot" to start from ground zero (without having Dixie backing him) and returning to the X Division.
    2. Sabin is by all means qualified to take it, but will they risk giving it to him if they think he won't renew his contract? A lengthy X run might be the bargaining tool needed to keep Sabin in TNA
    3. I can see where you're coming from, but the only one I see him burying is Robbie E... Who honestly should be buried. I think the toned up look helps him as a singles wrestler, but I think he should only have a 4-5 month reign before giving it over to a Styles, Bully, Hardy, RVD, or Crimson

First, Awesome to know TNA has fans in NZ. Makes me happy knowing that a promotion that started out as weekly PPVs turned into a Global promotion

    1. James Storm seems to be the general direction most people know. I personally think the feud deserves Storm winning the belt from Roode. I am a little more skeptical about what happens after that though. I don't see Storm holding the belt longer than 3-5 months before they drop it to Bully Ray before giving it to Aries.
    2. The X division has thinned out greatly from what it once was. However, Sabin is a well qualified replacement. My ultimate pick would be Petey Williams (look him up on youtube if you're new to TNA) returning after winning a contract similar to the tourney Aries won to get back into TNA. Sometimes it's fun to play "keyboard booker" for a federation
    3. Bully is AWESOME. I wouldn't mind seeing him hold the TV title until they are ready to use him for the WHC after Roode is done. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing Crimson take it off Devon as well, but I feel Devon is doing the best he can with the situation he currently is in.

    1. I agree with your Angle/Bully Ray, but Aries would only be as epic as we all think it would so long as they give the feud a proper build and not rush into it. Aries has to drop the X belt first, that's for sure.
    2. Hardy in the X Division, maybe... Not so much RVD in my opinion. I'd much rather RVD be in the TV title picture.
    3. I think Pope going over Devon for the TV title would be AWESOME... I just don't see it happening. I feel that Hardy might get it after a decent feud, but I feel Devon holding and defending each week is helping the belt not be a joke anymore.

I think Austin Aries or Bully Ray should take the world championship , Aries is awesome always been good on the mic , Bully Ray best heel around at the moment , hes made a great effort losing weight he can move around better , his promos are awesome he is so talented on the mic.

I want Joe to take back the X division tittle , he could win whilst making Aries look strong or by roode costing him the tittle etc, But Joe is awesome , the guy is intense his move set is great he just needs to lose a couple of pounds and find the motivation he once had.

I would like to see the Pope and Magnus fued over the TV tittle love both guys, Pope needs to be back on TV and Magnus hasn't been booked on TV since he and Joe lost the tag belts.

Anyone that wasn't apart of WWE or WCW. But specifics, James Storm. It looks to be building for him to take the title in the rematch. But like Darkside above, I worry about how long he'll keep it. It just seems he'll only keep it for a short time before someone else takes it.

    (2) Who should take the X Title off Aries and when?
Sabin is the only guy I think, but if he does leave ship then TNA is in trouble. Such a shame, I remember I can just pick anyone from the X-Division and they could be a good champion.

    (3) Is Devon's "Fighting Champion" gimmick doing anything to help make the TV title worth something?
Well, compared to when it was the Legends or Global Championship I care for it now more than then. But it's still pretty low. The problem is there isn't any iconic feuds to go with it. As is, it's just Devon defending it weekly against random people.

    (1) Who should take the WHC off Roode and when?

    Storm at Bound for Glory

    (2) Who should take the X Title off Aries and when?

Joey Ryan (he will be back) sometime over the summer

Still has a little while to go before it is worth something, but it a good start. I can see a heel taking it. Most likely Robbie T.

    1) Sting only if Roode gets the belt back 4 days later or a month later... If not or if so probably and most likely James Storm at Bound for Glory.... Would say Austin Aries, but the Main Event scene seems to have 4 or 5 guys already in it...
    2) Samoa Joe at Slammiversary or Destination X....
    3) It appears to be working somewhat but it appears they combining it with another feud or 2.... If anyone should beat him it should be RVD, Jeff Hardy, Kurt Angle or Bully Ray!!!
We all judge others even if it isn't our place to judge, but supposedly at the end we are all judged by one!!!
Wrestling, women and money who could ask for more???

I think Storm will finally take the title from Roode but as stated, I think it will only be a short reign and I see Aries then stepping up. I think Storm will be at Hardcore Justice with Aries winning at BFG.

As for the X-Division, if not at Destination X, I can see him holding on to it until BFG. Perhaps a double reign?

As we are talking of long reigns, how about the Knockouts? I can see a change at No Surrender, to whom though I'm not sure.
