06-11-2012, 06:34 PM #61yeah, his part wasn't big enough for him to really fuck anything up, which makes me think that Dixie is not the one who decided how he would be used, since she just doesn't strike me as that cautious. I do wonder if they tried to get him for a match first and then settled on the presentation. Given the option I would have tapped him to be the guest ref for Bobby/Sting. main event time, announce him as the guest ref, make no mention of him beforehand, and for fucks sake, electrocute the commentary team if you have to but make them sound excited to see him.
have him ref the title match, looking for all the world like the typical face special referee. then, at the last second have him refuse to count the pin on Bobby, take out Sting with the title, and count Bobby as the winner.
Young guy still wins, Sting looks strong, and people will talk about Christian screwing him over for months.
