CM Punk vs Daniel Bryan Over the Limit

I can't comment on TNA since I don't watch.

Personally I loved Christian vs. Cody Rhodes at NWO.

A lot of people saying Taker/HHH and Jericho/Punk were the best matches at WM. I actually thought Rock/Cena was the best match on the card.

If I had to pick one match as MOTY so far for WWE I'd go for Punk vs Bryan at Over The Limit.

Another match that people haven't mentioned yet is Tyson Kidd vs Trent Barreta in January. They actually had two great matches but I can't quite remember the dates. I think it was actually Barreta's last match on NXT since he got injured and the start of Kidd's face turn.

They do qualify, but while those matches are on one hand stellar matches, they rarely ever have any backstory to them. Not like the ppv matches that everyone's listing.

in my opinion the best match of 2012 so far is Davey Richards vs. Michael Elgin for the ROH world title!

As many of you may know, I'm statistically OCD, so every wrestling match I watch I rate (star wise) and catalogue in spreadsheets, from RAW, SD, Superstars, NXT, Impact, Xplosion, ROH Wrestling, WWE PPVs, TNA PPVs and ROH PPVs and DVD releases. Here are the WWE matches I've rated ****+ so far this year, in order

But for me, Michael Elgin vs. Davey Richards from Showdown in the Sun day 2 is MOTY so far, but Punk vs. Bryanm is a strong second

If we are just talking WWE I would say Undertaker v HHH with Punk v Bryan a close second. However, many people would argue that the MOTY thus far did not come WWE.

I would be one of those!
