So, I have been playing it straight since like midnight on Monday
I slept a bit

my main complaint? the create a title sucks. there are like, no options.

Love the Attitude era mode, much better than the last year's RTWM.

the universe mode is about the same, with a bit more control vis a vis rankings and the like. also they seem to have taken out the ability to interfere with a superstar in a match, or if it is there, I can't find it.

No, I'm just wary of this "Standard Edition" (or something like that) title that seems to suggest there will be another version further down the line. Not sure

The game is a major step up from last year as far as the matches go, very few problems with catching moves or just bumping people with running strikes. My only real issue is that they did absolutely nothing with the CAW section, its exactly the same as last year

Does the computer 'randomly' interfere with every single match like SvR 2011?

I saw someone set up an interference in WWE 13 in Universe Mode... so this tells me that there's still that same nonsense in WWE 12 where it won't let you interfere randomly. I remember one time that I wanted to interfere in a match against someone my character was feuding with at the time and it wouldn't let me, even though it made perfect sense. I can't figure out why, maybe faces can't interfere? Who knows.

EDIT: Oh, and DLC characters supposedly are coming out around December/January I hear.

Not got the game yet (1 day left) but I've heard that when Zack Ryder makes his entrance with the Internet Championship, he's referred to as the "WWE Champion" -.-
