What are the positives and negatives of having Hogan and Bischoff?

Over the past couple of years with Hogan and Bischoff, they've received criticism and at rare times positive reviews. Can anyone out there help me make a chart of the positives and negatives of having Hogan and Bischoff run the company. I suppose I can start with the rest of you adding on such things you didn't like that Bischoff and Hogan has brought to TNA and what they have brought that you like.

Positives:
Name recognition
Experience(WCW)
Bringing Flair in
Wrestling Matters
Went Live 2 different occassions
Change timeslot

Negatives:
Pushing Garrett Bischoff
Bringing in old friends no one cares about(Val Venis, Nasty Boyz, and Orlando Jordan)
Lost some faithful viewers(see ratings 1.3 consistant and now 1.0)
Championship changed hand in a box
Worst ratings ever during first live on Monday Nights

Besides the AJ mentor and fortune thing, flair didn't add anything to TNA. He's probably commanding a large salary to boot - that would be more of a negative imo
I wouldn't list the suicide thing as a negative. They didn't cause a death, kanyon had way more going on than just that.
This could apply to both;
6 sided ring removal (i'd say this is a pro)
Affiliation with AAA

pros:
He has also brought in many top names like Anderson and Hardy.

Cons:
X-division pretty much non-existant
Knockouts declined
Lost a lot of original talent - Amazing red, awesome kong, Shelley among others
TNAs speciality matches rarely used now - ultimate x
Stopped the World Cup

You mention name recognition as a positive, but declining ratings as a negative. So surely the name recognition did not do its job?

Hogan and EB don't really add much, Jeff is still their best merch seller by a lot.

After reading your positives and bnegatives and the nthinking about it more iy definately seems to have had a negative impact (excuse the pun) on the company the haven't really added anything.

Eric Bischoffs some time creative mind.....
Hulk Hogan and the name recognition.....

Negatives....
Hadn't really did nothing to change or even gain TNA/Impact many if any new fans....

the ineternational tv deals in more countries than before
the bound for glory series

the presentation and filming of the angles on tv. look better than before.

the cons

Ric Flair ( I am a big fan, but flair conned tna out of a bunch of money)
the monday night fail
the ratings
the fall of the tag team dvision
the fall of aj and joe ( well aj has been in or part of the main event for the last 7 out of 9 or so impacts. He took a back seat for a long time. Joe is in second place in bfg series but frankly I can't see anyone but storm winning it.

All in all it seems to be an in thing to blame Hogan and Bishoff for the many woe's of tna. Don't get me wrong if they are in charge its there fault. Yet I always find it funny how when tna does good things, people always try to find other people to credit for it.

I don't know or pretend to know who comes up with what in tna. Going back to Sacrifice TNA has been great tv for the last 9 or 10 weeks. Sure some weeks have been better than others. I find myself excited about what will happen next week.

Negatives:
Hulk Hogan/Eric Bischoff taking up alot of the show time. though the ratings don't benefit.
Wasting money

Postive:
Can use Hulk Hogan to put over a younger talent...though it hasn't happened yet.
Eric Bischoff was one of the reasons that WCW was able to become of the biggest companies ever, he needs more creative control backstage/ though he doesn't have the most creative control.

I think there could be alot of benefits from having Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff in TNA but they haven't been used correctly.

Pro's:

Despite what most people think, Bischoff can weave a decent story. He also is good at his promo's too.
Getting rid of the 6-Sided Ring. It was brutal on the Wrestlers. The way it was constructed, bumps were harder to take. So, it probably extended a few careers by changing it to the traditional ring.


Con's:

Name Recognition did not work. I'm sorry, but Hogan and Bischoff, have had time to capitalize on this. They failed.
Killing the X-Division. I'm not gonna delve too much here, as most of it has been said already. It just doesn't have the stars it used to have.
Devaluing of the Knockouts Division. Everywhere Bischoff goes, the Women's division suffers. Not as bad as the Cruiserweight division does, but suffers none the less.
6 Sided ring. It gave TNA something no other company had for a trademark. It added interesting angles you could do on a maneuver.

I didn't mention pushes or anything, cause I really don't know who exactly is responsible for pushes.

Bischoff gets too much credit for Garrett's push. He really has been pushed outside the lower Mid-card, even when Bishcoff had more control. So I don't see why everyone is griping about that.
