Arguably the biggest problem with them: Wasting money. TNA have wasted money on bringing them in, and they have wasted money on bringing back old talent to try to get ratings, or just for nostalgia. It hasn't worked well, and they do more harm than good.

    Wasting money

    Postive:
Can use Hulk Hogan to put over a younger talent...though it hasn't happened yet.
Eric Bischoff was one of the reasons that WCW was able to become of the biggest companies ever, he needs more creative control backstage/ though he doesn't have the most creative control.

I think there could be alot of benefits from having Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff in TNA but they haven't been used correctly.
..One could say that when he went on tv in England and put over Garrett Bishoff. Also two weeks ago on impact he said "he thought Austin Aries was the best wrestler he has ever seen'. To me that is putting someone over for hulk now. If he wrestles there is a real chance he will be crippled. The other thing is that the guy can barely walk to the ring I don't see how someone beating him in a match would be a big thing. No argument that he should be helping more ppl, but then again who knows what he does behind the scenes

Can anyone out there help me make a chart of the positives and negatives of having Hogan and Bischoff run the company. I suppose I can start with the rest of you adding on such things you didn't like that Bischoff and Hogan has brought to TNA and what they have brought that you like.

    Positives:
    Name recognition
    Experience(WCW)
    Bringing Flair in
    Wrestling Matters
    Went Live 2 different occassions
    Change timeslot

    Negatives:
    Pushing Garrett Bischoff
Bringing in old friends no one cares about(Val Venis, Nasty Boyz, and Orlando Jordan)
Lost some faithful viewers(see ratings 1.3 consistant and now 1.0)
Championship changed hand in a box
Worst ratings ever during first live on Monday Nights
I'll leave the rest to you......
Sorry but all but one of your positives are negatives in reality.

    Positives:
Name recognition - This is the only positive. Unfortunately it has not been worth much.
Experience(WCW) - Just look at what they did in WCW.
Bringing Flair in - Not in the slightest did this work out to be a positive for the company.
Wrestling Matters - Does it? That drive didn't last very long. Go to their website, as I did just now to check this, and nowhere when the page loads up do you see anything about 'wrestling matters' - this was just another idea that has not been followed through.
Went Live 2 different occassions - Going live twice has not worked either time. That is a fact.
Change timeslot - Once again changing timeslot has hurt the ratings so is in fact a fail.

I have nothing against TNA, but the world has changed, and wrestling just isn't that popular anymore. If the biggest name in the history of the industry can't garner enough media attention for the promotion, then something is definitely not working!

Live it works as it gives and get attention from us casual/general/hardcore wrestling fan.....
I wouldn't say it a fail, the numbers just haven't improved, due to many reasons... Some beyond TNA's control...
We all judge others even if it isn't our place to judge, but supposedly at the end we are all judged by one!!!
Wrestling, women and money who could ask for more???

Was just thinking which might be a bad thing....

This is positive and negative to TNA/Impact.... The General Audience that they market to....
WWE is big on marketing towards kids, and I think their ratings been showing due to the summer and most kids is out of school, can stay up later....
TNA has mixed demographics with more older kids.... Although with Hardy and Anderson and RVD might be 3 of the most popular to the younger audience which is much less....
