Imagine a massive legends vs current crop tag match though? Say Cena, Punk, Sheamus vs HHH, Taker and The Rock?

Some people were clamoring for a match like that while back on EWN.
I don't know why though. It's obvious the older crop of wrestlers have gotten slower with age. But there's just some fans that can't let go of the past and look to the current crop of great talent. I still wouldn't want to see that match though, as it wouldn't be too long, and it's likely the older team will win. I'd be happy with them just appearing on the show!

Absolutely, I hope that the show won't be focused on the legends. Anything's possible on this show though. With all the talk that Vince is "going all out" and that the show will effectively be a free ppv (ppv standard), then I have high hopes for it.

that would be epic lol. I hope to see some fan favorite midcarders for a quick apperence. Maybe a classic hardcore match with a mixture of new and old talent. Steve Blackman is rumored so he'd fit, Hardcore Holly and a couple of others.

If you couldn't already tell I'm a HUGE jim ross mark. I hope he shows up to commentate at the 1,000th Raw becuase to me J.R. helped make Raw entertaining.

I originally had this whole thread written out. I was going to talk about how excited I was for 1000th Raw and I listed a couple of positive notes. Then I started to think. Now, I am not really sure of what to make of the 1000th Raw. On one hand, it will be very easy to make it enjoyable for all the fans, but at the same time, it will be very easy to make it painful to watch. So here are the potential pros and cons. Please vote on top!

Potential Pros:
- Tons of old timers and faces we have not seen in a long while
- Many story lines will take a back seat due to the special night. So those who have been unsatisfied will not have to worry about that.
- The new belt is rumored to be revealed
- HHH v Lesnar confrontation
- The Rock
- $10 to whoever guesses which legend will bury Slater

Potential Cons
- Too many painful segments (I can see AJ, Santino, and Hornswoggle combining for 10 segment appearances)
- Not a good balance between wrestling and segments
- Way too much comedy
- 3 hours

Personally, I am going to remain optimistic be excited...for now.

Anything else to add to the list?

Honestly, 3 Hrs could also be a pro too. 3 hrs gives the show time to create better storylines for the mid-card too.

I honestly will wait until MitB is done, before I decide if I will be exited or not for the 1000th RAW. It could have a huge impact on storylines.

If they're doing what's been reported and treating this show as a ppv standard show, then I expect it to be much better than your average special 3 hour Raw.
