Trust me, I'd much rather the mix and mash myself. I just felt the idea of a 3 hour show for TNA needs a unique aspect to it. Not just "Copying the E" but rather it's own feel and flow to the show itself.
I honestly like the idea of having a second show better. A 5pm Saturday slot would work. Not so much action, more story building with say, 3 matches. But I would feature the TV Title on this show as well. Have the Robbie E's who you no aren't taking the title get their shot on this show while saving the guys who could potentially take the strap from the champ for the title defenses on Thursdays. If the title was to change hands on Saturday then it could be good to help bring viewers to the second show, but I wouldn't have many title changes featured on the show.
All in all, I like the fact that TNA kept the BFG series alive and I am anxious that the X series will return (note - at this time I have not watched Impact due to being at work and I have avoided all sections that usually spoil it, but hopefully I will have a plesant suprise when I get home and watch it.) I would like to see a king of the mountain match for either Hard Justice or No Surrender (preferrably here because Roode winning KOTM before dropping the title to Storm @ BFG would put both Storm and Roode on an entirely different level). And I have a feeling Monsters Ball will be returning to climax the Park/Abyss vs. Bully Ray angle.
But what I am looking for is another specialty match. What other novelty could TNA use to make themselve even more unique from WWE (other than quality wrestling). Any serious ideas?
