In one aspect of the case very true, it not about access to guns.... But if the reports that he had Autism, depending on the type is true... It might not could had been detected.... As all people whom has Autism is very different, some can communicate with others, some has little interaction of limited speech and limited mind set....
Then in the gun control aspect how did he get the guns from his mother, did his mom even know he had the guns.... Pretty much they wasn't locked up and/or they was stolen as well.....
This issue can be very complicated if the boy or young man did have a handicap...
