Current plans have Kane returning at the Royal Rumble but he could be brought back earlier. As far as wearing the mask goes, I like the idea, but it is not likely at this time.

I just think the mask kane would be too watered down for PG material. Same reason i think happened to the Undertaker.PG just didn't suit his character compared to the Undertaker of the attitude era.If indeed he does return wearing the mask what exactly we getting,A new ring attire and entrance.
