Why do you think so many people regard wrestling as a joke?
Yes its scripted. So is EVERYTHING else on tv. I don't think anything on TV
Is 100% real anymore.

Going to see a man that whenhe gets angry he turns into a green monster is acceptable but watching
monday. Ifht raw or imapct wil get you laughed at. I dont get it.

Wrestling is one of the things were no explanation is good enough for haters and no explanation is needed for fans.

When people say that to me, I just say "Well neither is Friends, HIMYM, Big Bang Theory, or any other soap opera you watch. Neither are the stunts you see performed in movies." When I point this out, they instantly shut up, since they then realize the type of show Raw/Smackdown etc is.
Because that's what wrestling is (or WWE anyway); it's a soap opera but with wrestling incorporated designed to entertain people.

Really? If that's true, then its awesome!
One could argue though, that wrestling tries to mask the fact that it's fake.
