Who shows up isn't the dealbreaker for me... It's what context they show up in. We know guys like Rock and HBK will be in the house, but I'm hoping they add value to a storyline - even if its a down-the-road storyline. For example, if Austin shows (which I pray he does), I hope its not just to stun Michael Cole, dump beer on him, and leave. I would hope he has an encounter with CM Punk, even if its just a hint at a Mania match, it would add so much more value than a cheap (but entertaining and nostalgic) appearance. At least get the conversations going. I'm fully expecting tons of said entertaining and nostalgic appearances - and I'm looking forward to them. But I want the big stars, who can still go at a PPV, to have meaningful interactions on the show. That's all.

thedag is really not messing around anymore.

    motherfucken keyboard gangsta

    anyhoo.

I really think that RAW 1000, if it doesn't just own, is gonna really screw up shit for WWE. I mean, for this go well, DX has to come out and do something really big, and then get the shit kicked out of them by Brock Lesnar, Austin has to come in and 3:16 the wedding, and then the Rock has to come out and lay the smacketh down on Cena.

I'm also gonna watch the preshow. just for shits.
super saturday mornings man wake watch

though there aren't any head hits but better

Whilst I will, I'm sure, enjoy parts of it. I just can't imagine it'll be anything more than a painful self-back-patting 3 hours of attempts to make the show hugely epic.

Oh and Michael Cole will be off the chart annoying with his guaranteed wittering on and on about it being both the 1,000th show and that fact RAW is the loooooooooooooooooooooongest running epison..................Zzzzzzzz Zzzzzzzz
Personally I think either you are going to be spot on, and it'll be a huge train wreck, or you'll be way off, and it'll come off gold. I honestly don't know how it will come off, and I'm just patiently waiting

Thoughts and hopes for Raw episode 1000

I suppose I should share my thoughts on the 1000th edition of Raw along with what I hope will happen. I'll underline names so if some of you don't want to read the whole thing and just want to hear my thoughts on for example: AJ/Bryan wedding, DX reunion, or Punk vs Cena for WWE title you'll be able to do so without having to read the whole thing.

I'm not going to lie, I havn't seen every Raw episode in my life. I basically first remember watching Raw around late 97/early 98 while watching WCW previously. In any case, it is going to be a huge night being able to see the 1,000 episode of Raw. It has been a long ride without a doubt. As always, talking about the great moments in Raw history leading up to the event. Already posted mine a while back in a blog. So obviously if you'd like to check those out....you know where to go.

As for the rumors that Vince is bringing in everyone not concerned about politics or egos getting in the way of this celebration. I'm excited as you all are, but with some rumors coming out with guys I don't believe will be stepping in the WWE ring that night. Guys like Warrior, Batista, Coach, guys under TNA contract, and Todd Grisham obviously are not going to appear. Why people concern themselves over Todd Grisham being at 1000th Raw or even asking him is quite stupid. LOL! He certainly isn't on my mind when I think about Raw and its history.

Charlie Sheen doesn't interest me at all. Him not being on Raw or not doesn't concern me. Not a big fan at all...or a fan for that matter.

It would be nice to see Flair on the 1000th episode of Raw, but if he doesn't....I understand why obviously. Already a stacked show to begin with. Doesnt need Flair I guess one could say, but it would be nice to have him on the show.

Thoughts on Raw legends like Vader, Sid, and so forth coming back to face 1 match vs Heath Slater is cool with me. Heath gets TV time. Yea, he loses, but at least he gets on Raw. Not only that, but he gets to face legends which is a plus for any wrestlers in the WWE if you ask me.

Hopefully they don't overbook the show with legends. Especially ones you could care less to see. Hopefully Austin will be there.

Wedding seems a bit rushed, but weddings after proposal happens probably about 2 weeks after anyways on TV which is cool with me I suppose. Quite interested to see what it going to happen because I have no idea what to expect. AJ/Bryan really don't have a rival you expect to appear such as when Edge/Lita got married and you expected Kane to arrive.

Both Steph and Vince are expected to be on the show. Vince is no surprise obviously. Interested to see how they'll be used. Possibly with Lesnar andHeymenabout the lawsuit. Than again, I was expecting DX to be interrupted by Lesnar. Who knows? Hopefully DX this go round not only has HHH/HBK, but also has X-Pac, Billy Gunn, and Road Dogg out there. Don't expect Chyna to appear for obvious reasons, but it would be cool if she was on the Raw show.

I've voiced on here on more than 1 occassion that I don't want to see HHH/Lesnar at Summerslam. I'd prefer to see him face someone else such as Punk or Orton, but it is what it is.

Speaking of Summerslam, I expect a triple threat matchup for the WWE title. Punk vs Cena vs Show. I'd prefer Cena/Punk rematch from last years Summerslam. Recent reports say Cena will not end up cashing in MITB. I personally didnt want him to win MITB in the first place. Not because I'm a Cena hater, because it is bad either way you want to slice it. Cena wins.......he ends Punk reign as champion which I don't want to happen. Prefer someone else to end it other than him and I don't want another Cena title reign right now. It has been a nice period without him being champion for a while. Gives all us fans a break from it all which is good if you ask me. The other bad part is if Cena loses, he will be the first to lose when cashing in the MITB which will take a hit on Cena's rep. If anyone could take the hit, it would be Cena, but I'd prefer him not to be first.

Christian defends the IC title vs who? Probably some legend returning hopefully. I hate him going back to the midcard with the IC title.

Bret Hart return isn't really that exciting to me neither is Rock or Foley appearing. Probably because I have no idea how they will be used. Expectation says Foley may be with the Rock on the show with Cena/Punk/Show. Bret possibly mentor Tyson Kidd possibly to win the IC title. That would be something!!

Who'll be the GM of Raw or SD or both? I don't know. Be nice to see Foley or Piper being a GM for a while. I hope Vickie nor Teddy Long becomes the GM again. I want something different. Vickie and Teddy as a GM has run its course. Give me something fresh!!

I believe I have covered every topic I could to give my opinion. Have any thoughts on Raw you would like to share? Leave a reply for me to read. Hopefully you agree with some of my opinions.
