The Brown One...there are various types of wrestling in India...but, pehalwani is the most famous one....it is a more famous in Northern part of India...in my state of Andhra...we call teh same pehalwani wrestling as mallayuddham...

there r several other ways of wrestling like kalari (which is believed to be one of the first martial art forms in the world)..

but, pehalwani format is teh most famous one...done in temples, fairs, carnivals n many occasions...Dara Singh is both Pehalwani wrestler as well as a professional wrestler...

just see the video I Have posted..that is form a movie...but, he kind of mixed both pehalwani style n also...professional wrestling style...pehalwani style will have constitute mostly grapple moves..then slams...much like greeko-roman style of wrestling...

Dara Singh was an awesome pro wrestling legend, as sad passing indeed. Lou Thesz and Dara Singh had a great rivalry going on back in the day, and Singh's passing is a blow, (although time catches us all), to the wrestling world. He will be missed.
