UFC 159: Results/Standings!

Saturday's "UFC 159: Jones vs. Sonnen" event drew a reported 15,227 attendees and generated a live gate of $2.7 million. UFC president Dana White revealed the figures at the evening's post-event press conference. The number of complimentary tickets issued for the show was not revealed, but the reported figures indicate the UFC generated an average revenue of $177.32 per ticket issued. UFC 159 marks the second-largest live gate ever reported by the UFC in the state of New Jersey.

UFC 159 will also go down as one of the most bizarre UFC events of all time. There were a lot of eye pokes, a lot of injuries, and a lot of very strange happenings. There was not however a lot of entertaining fights. The New Jersey State Athletic Control Board wasted no time releasing its list of medical suspensions for Saturday night's UFC 159 event, and given the weird array of injuries which occurred over the course of the evening at Newark's Prudential Center, it should be no surprise that the list is a long one. Medical Suspensions/Injuries List:

Jon Jones: Suspended indefinitely, pending an orthopedist's clearance due to a gruesome break of his left big toe.

Alan Belcher: Suspended indefinitely, pending the clearance of an eye doctor, due to a nasty eye-poke from Michael Bisping.

Gian Villante: Suspended indefinitely, pending the clearance of an eye doctor, due to a nasty eye-poke from Ovince St. Preux.

Yancy Medeiros: Suspended indefinitely, pending a doctor's clearance for a freak right thumb injury in his bout with Ruslam Khabilov.

Jim Miller: Suspended indefinitely pending a CT scan of his head, within a minimum of 60 days, due to being choked unconscious by Pat Healy.

Cheick Kongo: Suspended for 30 days for being on the receiving end of a KO/TKO.

Shelia Gaff: Suspended for 30 days for being on the receiving end of a KO/TKO.

Chael Sonnen: Suspended 45 days due to lacerations received.

Johnny Bedford: Suspended 60 days due to lacerations received.

Pat Healy: Suspended 45 days due to lacerations recived.
