So I've always wanted to do a WCW rebooking thread, I feel like I've got some good ideas, I will try and get this up regularly, but with writing Warzone and Rage for EWNCW, bare with me.

Scenario
After over a year of the air, WCW is returning to Television on the USA Network. The Deal between WWE and AOL for the rights to wCw broke down and after Vince scurried to try and recover the deal personally flying into the AOL/Time Warner head office, when he arrived he was too late WCW had been bought by a benefactor who wished to remain anonymous. Eric Bischoff was called to reconstruct the company, rehiring talents and putting in place a structure that would make a sustainable business, this afternoon Bischoff is expected to give the first press conference on the matter of WCW’s Return although the date has already been set June 3^rd 2002 with The Great American Bash PPV scheduled for Sunday 23^nd June 2002 from the Cow palace in San Francisco (Daly City)

Press conference highlights
- WCW Monday Nitro will be returning to the USA Network for 2 hours from 7pm est, live every Monday Night, at the moment, there are no plans for WCW Thursday Thunder to return. futhermore Monday Nitro will be on the road, touring the states, moving from one PPV location to the other doing Nitro and House shows along the way.
- There are limited plans to use Eric Bischoff as a on screen character, he will be working hard behind the scenes, Vince Russo and Ed Farrerra have not been contacted, rumoured creative members include Arn Anderson, Dusty Rhodes and Bruce Pritchard.
- In order to boost business WCW will take greater care with Merchandise, launching WCWSHOP.COM, hosted by Ric Flair.
- The word is that major WCW stars, Mike Awesome, Buff Bagwell and Dustin Rhodes have not been offered contracts, WCW leaves the door open for them to do business but for now wishes them the best of luck
- Booker T is still recognised as WCW World Champion & WCW US Champion.
- Despite Working the Wrestlemania 18 main event with The Rock, Hulk Hogan is expected to return to WCW
- Diamond Dallas Page, Scott Steiner, Sting, Kevin Nash & Scott Hall are all on board.
- Tony Shivonne & Scott Hudson have been confirmed as the commentators.

cheers man, again I'd love to hear you thoughts after the first show, which finger crossed will be up today, but seen as I am going to my brothers later to watch RAW 1000th Episode, I might not.

Backstage Updated: Lance Storm and Road Warrior Animal, had an real life altercation last night at a Independant Wrestling Event in Canada, Road Warrior Animal def Storm on the card, but word is that Storm wasn't happy with the finish, an argument ensued and this led to a fight, both men are still expected to return to WCW.

*Legal Issues*

A Legal debate has irrupted over just who Hulk Hogan was under contract with when he worked the WWE's Wrestlemania 18 Main Event against The Rock. If it is proven that Hogan was working under his WCW contract, a deal that Vince McMahon never official owned, WCW may have the right to legal action.
