Setting The Scene- RAW

The road to WrestleMania is nearly upon us, as we are less than three weeks from the Rumble, where our 30 man main event is sure to be a thriller. After Raw 1000, where Mick Foley was announced as the Raw GM, he has been running a tight ship, applauded by fans and wrestlers alike. However, one man has been disappointed with the fact Foley has given him no title shots. This man is the newcomer Xavier Woods! Will Foley finally grant him his wish? On the WWE Title front, John Cena finally climbed to the top of the mountain with a victory over CM Punk, who held the title for exactly one year until he was beaten at Survivor Series in a no-DQ match. Mick Foley announced last week that there would be a triple threat match to confirm the man who will face The Rock for the WWE Championship at The Royal Rumble when Cena faces off against Punk and the winner of a six man Battle Royal earlier in the night. After David Otunga returned last summer, he has been on a winning streak picking up the US Title along the way, defeating Kofi Kingston for the belt at Final Battle. WHo will step up to challenge the law-abiding citizen next? Also, the Tag Team Champions, The Prime Time Playas, with the help of AW, climbed ladders to defeat Kofi and R-Truth at Survivor Series and havent looked back since, running thru what they call ' a fledging tag team division'. As well as this, the inagural and only TV Champion so far Alex Riley, is looking for competition to challenge for his title. Anyone from either brand can challenge, but no-one who has has proved a significant threat to A-Ry as of yet. Jack Swagger , the All-American American, is his opponent tonight in our second title match of the night. It should be an epic Raw!

Monday Night Raw- Episode 1

Pyro goes off as Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler welcome us to Raw live at The Staples Centre, the first of 2013! Lawler and Ross hype up the huge title matches tonight, TV and WWE Championships both on the line. Our first match however will determine who will be the third entrant into the WWE Title match for later tonight, in a 6-man Over The Top Rope Battle Royal!

Match 1: Big Show vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Wade Barrett vs. The Miz vs. Kane vs. R-Truth

All six men face off and begin battling

Elimination: After a minute of brawling, all five men turn to Big Show, deciding he is the biggest threat and all five men heave him over the tope rope

Big Show eliminated by everybody

Elimination: Kane soon overpowers R-Truth and hits him with a big boot. He picks him up easily and throws him out onto the mat.

R-Truth eliminated by Kane

Elimination: Daniel Bryan and The Miz then rush the Big Red Monster, taking a leg each and throwing him onto Truth.

Kane eliminated by D.Bryan and The Miz

Elimination: The final three face off, and Barrett and The Miz attack Bryan, who fights valiantly, and takes Barrett down with a dropkick. Miz lowblows him and hits the Skull Crushing finale. Before he can throw him over however, John Morrison’s music hits and we see The Shaman of Sexy appear for the first time in nearly 18 months in WWE. This distracts Miz so that Barrett can throw him over the top rope easily. Morrison sprints to the ring and he and Miz begin brawling out to the back.

The Miz eliminated by Barrett

Elimination: Bryan is out cold and Barrett slides underneath the ropes and grabs a table from underneath the ring. He sets it up and pulls Bryan to the outside underneath the ropes and hits The Wasteland, driving Bryan thru the table. Wade then drags the unconscious Bryan back to the ring, and then finally throws him over the top rope.

Daniel Bryan eliminated by Barrett

Winner: Wade Barrett

JR comments on how Barrett should have just thrown Bryan over the top rope instead of punishing him for no reason. King says he likes Wade’s fire. JR calls that being an asshole.

We hear Xavier Woods’ music come on and he arrives out to boos from the crowd. He looks angry as he gets in the ring. He tells the crowd to shut up and respect true greatness. He then goes on to say how Mick Foleyhas treated him like trash and has not had one title shot and he will sit in this ring and not move until he gets it. Foley comes out to a huge pop and says that maybe he has been a bit harsh on Woods. He will then give him a chance to have a TV Title shot at the Royal Rumble IF he can beat Rey Mysterio! And that match is next!

Match 2: TV Title #1 contenders match- Rey Mysterio vs. Xavier Woods

Finish: Rey hits the Hurracanrana and sets Woods up for the 619, and connects. Mysterio throws himself of the ropes, but Woods hits him with a huge Culture Shock for the three count.

Winner: Xavier Woods by pinfall

We see Mick Foley on the Titantron, in his office applauding Woods’ performance. JR and Lawler talk about how this is the biggest win of his young career so far.

RAW REVIEW

What a way to kick off RAW

With a 6 man over the top rope battle royal where the winner will be added to the WWE Championship match in the main event will it pay off we will have to wait and see. Personally out of all the wrestlers involved you made the right choice with Barrett winning because he deserves to be pushed.

Another point I would like to make is that with the order of eliminations you could book some pretty awesome feuds keep that in mind

I marked out when Morrison returned because he never should of left

Next we have Rey Mysterio goes one on one with Xavier Woods in a T.V Championship First Round match and Woods not only moves forward in the tournament but he also has a victory over the greatest little man in WWE history Mysterio great choice here and also that match would be mad in real life.

Backstage we see GM Mick Foley applauding Woods interesting

In another T.V Championship Qualifier we see A- Ry come out on top of Jack Swagger via the Riley Elevation? what is that?

After the match Xavier Woods sends a message to A- Ry that he will beat him and become T.V Champion good job

Next we have recap of the Tag Champs attacking Santino and Hornswoggle and the following promo was epic

The tag champs then dominate their victims from last week in a non title match and post match beatdown awesome

The Monday night Delight John Morrison faces the Dreadlock Demolition Man Tyler Reks and gets a DQ victory because The Awesome One The Miz gets revenge for Morrison costing him the match earlier in the night a good feud brewing will Reks want to get revenge on both of them ?

How do you end the night with the Straight Edge Savior Cm Punk becoming the new WWE Champion by taking advantage of the circumstances caused by D Bryan's interference and hitting a GTS on Barrett sending him out of the ring and pinning a knocked out Cena thus gaining the WWE Championship

Finally The Great One sending a message to Punk he is coming after him via a Rock Bottom

Also I like the hinted John Cena Daniel Bryan feud

SmackDown preview

Welcome to the preview for the first SmackDown of the new year, coming off a rollercoaster of a new year. At the end of it, Randy Orton defeated DOlph Ziggler to once again have gold around his waist. Dolph was denied a rematch by then SD GM, Teddy Long. However, Teddy long was then released by the company last week, and Vince McMahon himself will announce the new SmackDown GM personally tonight! Will Dolph Ziggler get the rematch he's been vying for for almost a month since he lost to The Viper at Final Battle? Also at Final Battle, we got ourselves a brand new IC Champion, with Ted DiBiase defeating 'The Canadian Hero' Tyson Kidd for the belt. Ever since then, Tyson has changed, and has been carrying out vicious attacks on DiBiase, and promises to explain his actions tonight on SD. Also, The Kings Of Wrestling, who promised to bring back the excitement to Friday Nights, are in action, after they beat down The Usosafter a loss last week. They will be facing two wrestlers who have formed an alliance in the past few weeks, Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara. Can the two masked marvel pick up a huge win over the so called 'Kings'? This and many other questions will be answered on Friday Night SmackDown! Dont miss it!
