Monday Night Raw February 25th 2013
Before the pyro hits, we get a fly through 30 second recap of last week's Raw featuring Cena, Taker, Rock, Brock, Punk and Austin. The short video ends with Austin celebrating with the fans.
We are welcomed to Monday Night Raw by JR and Jerry Lawler, and what a night we have in store for you at home tonight. JR says that Brock and Rock face off, Cena and HHH respond to their Wrestlemania challenges and Steve Austin returns to give reasons as to why he attacked CM Punk at the Rumble and No Way Out. Was is for a match at Mania, or is there more?
Brock Lesnar's music hits and Brock arrives out into the arena with Paul Heyman beside him. He makes a signal that he is after the belt, and Heyman pats him on the back. As they make their way to the ring, we are taken back to last week, when Brock talked about how he would defeat The Rock at Wrestlemania and change WWE and be the unstoppable force of the WWE. We then see Rock sprint out and the massive bloody brawl that ensued. Brock and Paul are in the ring, grinning at the tron. Paul Heyman says to welcome his associate, BRROCK LESNARR!!! The crowd openly boo Brock as he poses and heyman talks. He says that if Brock can bloody The Rock in a 30 seconds brawl with dozens of security guards holding him back, imagine what the Rock's face is gonna look like when he's in the ring on his own, no proctection against the most dangerous man in Wrestling, Brock Lesnar. The crowd boo again and Brock tells them that they can boo all they like, because he knows, and deep down the Rock knows, that Dwayne can't beat Brock. Brock is just too good, too fast too powerful. Last time these two fought, it was the beginning of the Brock era and quite frankly the beginning of the end for The Rock, when Brock won the big one 11 years ago at Summerslam. This time, Brock is more experienced, more agile, knows how to fine tune his brute strength, knows the Rock's weaknesses. You see last time, Brock had no plan before matches, he just went out there and beat the crap out of whoever stood in his way. This time, he is better. He combines that animalistic rage with guile and tactfulness. Brock LEsnar is not now just a wrecking ball. Brock Lesnar is a SMART wrecking ball. And at Wrestlemania Bro.....
IF YA SMELLLLLLL!!!!
The Rock comes out with his WWE Championship belt and stands on top of the ramp and takes in the ROCKY! ROCKY! ROCKY! Chants. After a minute of this The Rock speaks... 'FINALLY! THE ROCK HAS COME BACK TO DALLAS!! The crowd in the American Airlines center goes bonkers for their WWE Champion. The Rock stares down at Heyman and Brock and takes off his shades. He says The Rock is here tonight to adress Brock Lesnar and his fat-ass mouthpiece with no sense of hygiene good God almight wash your hair sometime Paul-E! If you want silky locks like The Rock use some conditionor n that son bitch! The Rock rubs his bald head, as the crowd laughs. Brock begins to pace up and down the ramp, growing redder by the second. Rock tells Brock to calm down, take deep breaths, cause your running round that ring looking a chewed up Rasberry dear Lord almighty. This incenses Brock, who starts whcking the rope in frustration. The Rock peers down and confirms that oh wait....yeah the Rock can literally see steam coming out of Brock's ears! The crowd lap up every second of this, and Paul has to try to calm Brock down, and Brock grabs the microphone. He screams that is a stupid Son Of A Bitch who has no clue what he's getting into by facing me and that if he wants to run his mouth all night long, thats fan-fricking-tastic but it just shows him that Rocky is scared of Brock! The crowd boo wildly and Brock drops the mic, signalling Rock to bring it. The Rock pauses, and tells Brock that if he thinks, for one single solitary second that the Rock is afraid of him, then he is a big a punk-bitch as he thought he was. Respect your abilties yes, fear you... HELL NO! The Rock says that if Brock wants to talk tactics and his 'game plan' so to say then that absoulutley super. But at the end of the day, when you go one on one with The Great One at Wrestlemania, it aint about tactics, it aint about game plans, it's all about handing out the ass whuppin of a lifetime! And its about how long you can stick the pain. So you can take your mind games, and your tactics, turn them son bitches sideways and stick them straight up Paul Heyman's fat ass! IF YA SAMEEEELLLLLLALALALA WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKING! Rocky raises his eyebrow at the camera and then raises his blt to the crowd and to Brock. Brock just shouts 'April 7' to Rock as we go to a quick Wrestlemania Promo hyping it as the biggest night in Sports Entertainment. We return to see Brock in HHH's office saying that he has found a suitable opponent for Rock and to send Rock out to the ring. HHH mutters 'fine' and seems preoccupied with something.
The Rock returns back out to the ring and awaits his opponent who is... Tensai! Rocky looks focues as Show walks into the ring, ready for battle.
Match 1: The Rock vs. Tensai
The Rock can't really get into the bout, as every time he mounts some sort of offence, Tensai clubs him with a big right hand and takes him down. At the moment, show is dominating and lifts Rock 8 feet in the air before dropping him. The rock rolls into the corner, which is a big mistake as Tensai clambers to the second rope and lands a huge Slingshot Splash on top of the Rock. Rock somehow kicks out at two. Tensai climbs again and goes for the same manouveur, but Rock rolls out of the way, and this is his chance and hits Tensai with Rights and lefts and knocks him against the rope, and as the 400 pounder bounces off, Rocky somehow lifts him up and hits a HUGE spinebuster! Rock signals for the end and as Tensai rises, Rock turns him around and hits a Rock Bottom! He sets Tensai up and hits The most electrifying move in Sports Entertainment Today... The People's Elbow! Rock pins Tensai and picks up a big win. As Rock celebrates, we go backstage to see Brock and Heyman discussing the match that just took place
Result: The Rock via pinfall
Commercial
We return to Raw and are greeted by JR and Jerry Lawler, who discuss The Rock's match and how he overcame a huge obstacle in the form of Tensai. Both commentators agree that the Rock looked good out there tonight. As they move on, Triple H's music hits and the arena erupst with noise. The Game appears out in a suit and high fives fans on his way to the ring. He gets in the ring and calls for a microphone. He says before he talks about what happened last week he wants to adress the US Title situation. Now, David Otunga has escaped time and time again and he has not won cleanly since he became Champion. So tonight, he will place him in a match with three other men... RVD, Seth Rollins and Wade Barrett, where there is no escape, because tonight David Otunga defends his title inside a 15 foot high Steel Cage! The crowd cheer for this announcement as HHH says he has to move on to more serious matters. He says that in the past month or two, Xavier Woods has been a constant thorn in his side. Attacking and viciously assualting Mick Foley, a hardcore legend, attacking him the Chairman of the WWE last week and having the audacity to challenge me to a match a Wrestlemania? His attitude stinks, and someone should kick the living shit outta the punk, but Triple H argues that he is not that guy. The crowd boo as Triple H goes on. The fact is, he argues, is that he's moved on in his life and yeah, last year he did come back, but he lost, twice. And this kid, this little punk doesn't want to face Triple H to give you guys a great match, this guy wants to make money off of facing The Game at Wrestlemania! And HHH isnt going to give him that hance, casue he doesn't deserve it. Before HHH can continue, Xavier makes his way out to the ring, smirking as the crowd boo the hell outta him, clearly indicating that he doesn't give a damn what any of them think. As he enters the ring, he laughs at HHHwho looks at him angrily for interrupting him, but Woods just seems to ignore him as he gets on the microphone. He says to Hunter that they haven’t been getting along recently, have they? He says that yeah, he does want to make a name for himself, and he doesn’t give a crap about the fans, but isn’t that exactly what HHH did with The Kliq? Influenced Vinnie Mac in all his decisions for personal glory, not for the fans benefit. Woods says that he and HHH are very alike. They both know what they want and they get it. And he wants HHH in that ring at Wrestlemania. Cause The Game doesn’t sort things out by talking over it with an irate employee, ‘The Game’ kicks that punk’s ass! HHH considers this, before saying no again. Woods goes to leave but then turns around and slaps HHH in the face, and spits on him. He leaves to huge jeers and HHH is furious.
JR and Lawler discuss what just happened. JR calls Woods a disrespectful brat, but King says he’s only doing this out of desperation to face The Game! We are shown a quick recap of Smackdown, where we see Cody Rhodes getting RKO’d by Orton to end the show.
