Punk Vs Kofi

You don't give titles to people because of their race, you give them titles if they deserve them. Booker T worked to deserve his world titles, Kofi needs to get up to that level to deserve his.

You got any idea on how Kofi can get the opportunity to get to that level? Cause hes already held mid card single titles and tag titles, just like booker did before he got his push. What could be the hold up now? There's nothing really left for him to do in the mid card. He done it all. Maybe win about ten tag team titles like booker?

Idk what else he needs to do?

I like this idea, the WWE needs a "Real Full" black WWE Champ.

I love the fact that WWE really has a decent size group of black wrestlers right now. However, I think R-Truth would be a better person to contend against Punk than Kofi. Kofi showed some of what he's capable of in his feud with Randy Orton and if they pushed Kofi like that against Punk THEN I'd back him.

I just mentioned it, but do you remember what Kofi brought to the table against Orton? He really showed me that he could keep up with the big boys during that time. I think they killed his opportunity before he could get further.

The main stumbling block for hi at this point is that the main event scene is pretty stacked. See you have:

CM Punk, John Cena, Big Show, Daniel Bryan, Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio, Rey Mysterio, Chris Jericho, Randy Orton, Dolph Ziggler, Wade Barrett (when he comes back), Cody Rhodes, Kane (plus you have The Rock hovering around for another 6 months).

I've probably left someone out there, but all of the above are ahead of Kofi in the 'pecking order' so to speak. Kofi's not going to get ahead of any of those in the foreseeable future IMO.

If he's going to do it though, he needs another feud with a top level guy, similar to the feud he had with Orton. I'm still not sold on his mic skill. When was the last time he cut a promo? He needs a top level feud with a Jericho or Kane or someone where he goes over to establish himself as a serious player at the top of WWE.

Oh so they give Jerry Lawler, Ziggler (last year) and John Morrison WWE/WHC matches out of the blues and they can't give Kofi one? Why not? Lawler was an announcer, who should be retired by now, Ziggler wasn't ready (he sucked on the mic back then) and Morrison couldn't cut a face promo to save his life. Kofi is decent at promos, and is a decent wrestler too. Plus the fact that people really like him despite him being a midcarder is good for business.

I wouldn't mind the WWE having a throwaway feud for a PPV or two where a midcarder gets a shot at the WWE/WHC. Maybe now isn't the best time though, as Punk's heel turn is something huge, and he'll likely be facing main eventers to keep the momentum going.

Okay i got mic skills and a load of main event wrestlers with about 3 full fledged faces. With feuds we have seen before with 2 main event champions. The rest are heels and tweeners. So unless they turn some heels then the new heel punk just has about 3 poeple to segment with until the RR. Unless they are going to go heel vs heel.

So im not disagreeing with you, but the face pecking order isnt that deep.
