It's kind of the point I was trying to make. Gaming is no longer the realm of true geeks anymore, which they are loathe to admit. Chances are, if you've played an online game with strangers in a group scenario, you wouldn't have anything to do with that person in real life. Gaming is for all walks of life now. And it will just become moreso.

I'm not slightly obsessed with her . I just like to go for examples of actresses or bands that people often know. I do think emma stone is more approachable than most celebs that's why I chose her to be the girl I thought I had a chance with (in sarcasm) because at least she seems semi obtainable. also are you sure her hair color is that natural blonde, I heard it was more of a darker dirty blonde. It helps that she is in some of my favorite movies, which means I end up seeing her more than other actresses so when I think of attractive actresses I automatically think of her in that conversation.

it's not just you guys. I do that with everyone. I understand not alot of people listen to some bands that I like... so in a typical conversation I will bring up a band like the foo fighters instead of like atlas genius because more people will know what I'm talking about. it's not because I think they are dumb... I just want to have better discussions. I don't mind when people want to point out great bands to me though, or great movies, or hot actresses... I just no the feeling of not being able to contribute to a conversation because of my own ignorance.
