I don't think the finisher is the problem as much as the in-ring psychology is. Every match and every feud is the same. 1) sneak attacks during Smackdown or Raw to soften the arm up, 2) work the arm for 25 minutes (of what is typically a boring match), 3) PPV opponent valiantly struggles and succeeds at getting out of the cross-armbreaker, 4) opponent hits their own finisher for the win.....
Every match follows this pattern. It's boring.
