I guess it depends how serious they are as GMs. Personally I'm tired of running through gms in a few months and I would like them to have one person set in the power position.
But on topic I'd say its Booker who gets back in the ring first. Storyline will probably be one of the younger guys comes to him looking for an ic title match and he'll get it then lose. Come back to booker who will say he has to earn it and put him in a few matches which he'll lose and eventually he'll start talking about how the only reason he's been loosing and and he's not champ is cause booker had been screwing him over. Then he'll jump Booker in the back or in his office and eventually they'll wind up in the ring.
If thats the case then it could be a great launching point for either a new guy or one of teh lower mid carders to jump into the higher midcard
