Snoop Dogg Changes His Name

What do you guys think about Snoop changing his name from Snoop Dogg to Snoop Lion? I think it's rather ridiculous and doesn't flow like Snoop Dogg did. But, what's done is done. He's also transitioning from rap to reggae. What do you think about that?

I wonder if he'll still speak in his Doggy Dogg language.
Ex: Fo shizzle my nizzle! (Haha, memories!)

I guess its not hard to see someone who seems so laid back with his musical style to be doing a reggae album, and I don't see any reason it wouldn't be as good as some of his other music. But I do have a question, is he just straight changing his name or just using 'Snoop Lion' for reggae and still using 'Snoop Dogg' for rap?

I'm not 100% positive, but I do believe he will always be known as Snoop Dogg for rap. I think the names will be separated with the genres.

If you look it up on the Internet you'll find that some "High Priest" in a temple told him to change his name to lion because he's "the light" now and it's better than dog.

I had no clue about this.. wow that's going too take some getting used too! Haha I guess if you are going too change you're name as least have a cool reason why you are doing it and he has that.. Oooooook? I think he may have finally smoked himself insane. But, all the luck in the world to him, I've always liked his raps and I'm interested to see how he'll do in reggae
