TNA vs. WWE - who's championships mean more?

As a WWE fan, I have to say that I feel TNA is doing a much better job at making their titles mean more lately...

It really seems that WWE has had all the titles take a back seat, even though they are now giving longer title reigns... At least TNA is doing something right!

What do you think WWE needs to do to bring prestige back to the titles?
i.e- have IC championship matches as the main event of Raw, WWE/Heavyweight titles taking turns at headlining PPVs (only have both titles defended at WM & night of champions, the rest- alternate...

WWE and WHC Titles cannot be valuable without the brand split, nothing current WWE would do could change the prestige of the titles.

No matter if TNA is currently putting on better shows than WWE, the WWE World Titles will always have more meaning and presitge to them than the TNA World Title. Think to yourself this question.......would you rather wear the WWE or WHC Title around your waist?......or the TNA Title? I think the answer for most of us will pretty easily be the WWE or WHC Championships. They will always have more meaning and more prestige to them than the TNA Heavyweight Title.

agreed both wwe world titles will always without a doubt have more prestige and meaning to them.

Agree....WWE belt has more prestige...they need to get rid of that spinner shitttttzzzz..don't they know spinners played out in like 2006 or so...lol...but seriously WWE belt has more prestige than TNA

What I am saying is TNA is making their titles look very prestigious on their shows compared to WWE. I don't mean TNA tiles mean more than WWE compared... but if you just watched each show, TNA hypes the titles, the history of them, and the people who held them much more than WWE does.

i take the thread as meaning which titles are more important to the respective organization. right now TNA's title is more prestigious to TNA. thursday tjey ended with a contract signing, which tells me that at least for now, the TNA title is more prestigious to tna that the wwe title or whc is to wwe

I actually think the TNA title is more prestigious than the WWE title right now. If you ignore the long history that goes with the WWE title or The Big Gold Belt they've both been devalued to the point or mockery now. While CM Punk has held the strap for almost a year now he's been playing second fiddle to Cena STILL. Say what you will about TNA (and I'm sure some people will and they'll use too many ...'s) but there's nothing in TNA more important than their title. The whole Bound For Glory series is about getting to be number one contender, the new X-Division cash in rule is for a title match, their pay per view main events are almost always a world title defence.

Vikingsman18 asks which belt I'd rather have 'round my waist? I'd say, in order: WHC, TNA, IC, X-Division, WWE, US, TNA TV.

Ask yourself this: If TNA and WWE had the same bank balance which company would showcase the best pro wrestling? (Clue: it's the one with an actual women's division, cruiser weights and no W's in their name!)
