Yeah, that was my impression too. It may very well be Raw specific, but has anyone heard anybody state this exactly?

i'm not sick of it yet it brings this rivalry full circle really go back to where it all started at hell in a cell and end it the minus hbk of course. Would have been great i they had one last run as tag champions as the brothers of destruction but thats not going to happen if the rumours are true kane is retiring after this

I think this wil culminate at Wrestlemania when Kane ends the streak. If all the rumors are true that Taker wants it to end and is almost done, Taker wins title at NoC, Kane wins the Rumble and wins at Mania.

Undertaker is not the wrestler he was 10 years ago, i will put money on it that he retires at wrestlemania and he will be facing Kane, This feud is going to take us up to Wrestlemania, I'm not sure how long the title will stay in the picture for though. I've herd the Miz is scheduled for Smackdown house shows in Oct so who knows. ( waste of a push on Raw if he jumps to smackdown). Lets just see if WWE has the guts to let the streak end or let Undertaker retire unbeaten.

Promo work very good from these two but not sure about their ability anymore.

Unfortunately we have a dillema...... Kane v Undertaker will never go away. The more the "Taker" is off air, the better. Since Kane was unmasked it has become a little passe. When he was masked back in 97, it was new, emotional and without the internet, we were all interested. This cenception needs to go away. We need to get back to basics and unless Paul Bearer is re-introduced then this story needs to end. Don't get me wrong, I loved "Taker" and Kanes original work against Mankind was legeondary, but come on WWE, lets let sleeping dogs lie and lets treat these great physical specimines with the respect that they BOTH deserve.

Here's what's going to happen in my opinion:
The feud will end (for now) at the HITC ppv, with Taker winning the strap off Kane (so I think Kane will beat Taker at NOC), with Paul Bearer making an appearance with the urn 'to give Taker power' (as he's selling the fact that he's weak after Kane's 'attack' at the moment). I can see an angle where Taker 'brings Bearer back from the grave' and re-unite both.
Kane will return at the Royal Rumble, win, and go on to headline Mania in a title match vs Taker, where he wins, therefore ending the streak and winning the title. Taker will then 'Rest in Peace' and retire. OR, Taker will win, and both will retire

I'd prefer Kane not to win the RR. The rumble should be used to catapault mid carders with credibility into the main event of Wrestlemania and get their ball rolling. If their rivalry were to last to Mania it would have gotten stale and borring, no matter how good the promos are.
