I'd say Austin/Hogan/Rock. When you talk about wrestling, even people who never watched it before would have heard of those three names. Cena, not so much.
While I do think Stone Cold is one of the greatest of all time and was a huge draw in the wrestling industry and no one today will even reach his level, I just don't think he was on Hogan's level. He was close but not really there. With the rock and wrestling connection, selling out MSG countless times, being the most requested celeb of the 80's for the Make-A-Wish foundation, and being featured on the Sports Illustrated cover, Hulk Hogan's popularity was on another level. Plus, Hogan's match with Andre at the Main Event drew in 15.2 a rating. The highest rated match Stone Cold was involved in drew in a 9.2 rating and that match was Stone Cold, The Rock, and Vince Mcmahon vs Triple H, The Undertaker, and Shane Mcmahon with Shawn Michaels as a special guest ref. That says a lot about Hogan's popularity in the 80's.
