Favorite Moment: Definitely the chaos (no pun intended) surrounding the Main Event. It really highlighted the three championship feuds well, and really got me psyched for DBG, as it really made me believe either competitor could win the match at the PPV.
Best Piece of Booking: I’m going to go with Sag Blue beating Domino. I never really bought into the feud, but this feels like the end of it (I could be wrong) to me, and if it is, I’m glad Blue is the one that got the win. He deserved it as he does good promos constantly and maybe move him on up the ladder on Chaos.
One other piece, having Kaige as the special guest ref, now really sets up an interesting matchup at DBG, as before this announcement, Dixon was a shoe in for me to win.
Any Piece of Booking You Didn't Like: Nothing seemed wrong from the booking end on my end.
Best Match: I’ll go with the Main Event as it really set up the final showdown before DBG for the championship matches, and it also, as mentioned before, put the competitors on an even playing field going into DBG.
Best Promo: For this I‘m going Ace Note & Mike Hawk. I thought both men did a stellar job with the promo and drew me in to their feud and it really did make it seem like a battle of good and evil, and made it seem as though there is something Ace Note could lose if he loses at the PPV
Any Matches and/or Promos That Could've Been Improved: None that I could see.
Any Final Positives: I liked the way the show started it was different and it worked.
As for promos, I thought most of them were good through the whole show. The Dixon/ Athena/ Kaige promo was good, Pisces Pink & Vivica, Adonis, Juno, S&S, Shaz, all had good promos on the show.
As for the Juno/ Jeff Hardy thing. I enjoyed it this week, I thought it worked well for the feud and the situation, and the current state of mind of Juno. I hope this is just some sort of phase to transition Juno’s character, but I would not want this occurring regularly. Works for the situation, not long term.
Anything Else That Fell Below Your Expectations? No Malcolm Cage. If I want to be drawn into the whole Seahawk/ James/ Cage feud and situation, I needed to either see or hear from Cage.
This wasn’t a bad thing but I think Frewin’s debut might have gotten overlooked because of the build up for the PPV. It might have been better served on the show after the PPV.
Overall Show Grade: This was a very good go home show, so I’ll give it a B+. Everything that needed to happen for the PPV happened in some form in my eyes, very good show, and I can’t wait for the PPV!
