Pretty easily, the PM limit is 5k characters, so specifying like a limit of 1PM per person per promo or something could work quite well

of course, that is just my opinion. Been sitting back reading all of this, rolling it around in my head for a bit.

On the other hand though, if a promo is exciting, entertaining and holds the interest of the reader, could there not be an argument that length is not an issue?

that is where judging each on a case by case basis comes in, but really, you don't need to be Tolkien to create a good read, Stephen King works just as well, and at a level that is easier to ingest on an online medium

Black Blooded is about the same everywhere, except for here. (But I am not really allowed to go into that)
on the other end, I think I am unique in that most of my IC posts are about as long as my promos for the shows :P I don't have a whole bunch of unneeded stuff, I say who we are aiming to beat up, call them some names, talk about how dominant we are, and end it. it's a simple, sweet formula that works for me.

and I make a witty remark with some gaps for you to come back at to keep it interesting and thus we have a good back and forth chain.

this, if you want to write classics, then wait for them to be on a PPV or Supershow where more people are more likely to read everything and the stakes are higher.
