Cena is the current top merch seller in WWE and their top face, and Orton's another hugely popular face. Turning them heel at this point is not even worth considering.

In 5 years time when they've found guys to replace Cena and Orton as the top guys then they can consider doing this.

like it or not, faces sell the merch., get kids watching, get kids parents to buy tickets when the E is in town, make the talk show rounds, etc...

hogan turning was ENTIRELY different.

he had hall and nash (both superstar main event guys) to be aligned with, and is naturally a SOB so he fit into the Hollywood gimmick PERFECTLY.

john cena as you see him, is john cena in real life. he is just a good, hardworking, humble dude.

the nWo was so great, and hogans turn was so great, BECAUSE IT NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE...

Nobody said it was just like Hogan when Austin did the unthinkable and ailigned with Vince. Nobody said the same when The Rock turned heel, either. Everything i've read about Austin and The Rock are that they are great to be around. They were great both Heel and Face. It's just playing a role.
