Just giving a thumbs up to the new features that have been added.
The new links make navigating the forums quickly a breeze, and I really like the recent activity function on the profiles is really cool too.

Yeah some of the functions have gone with me too now.
I think it's still a work in progress as rank said, so I guess we just have to bear with until the work's completed.

Give it time, I'm sure it will work itself out. Truthfully, I hadn't noticed until someone pointed it out! Lol, it's cool but if you don't like it you can easily navigate the site as per usual

Icons look good.

I suggest using some kind matte gray black texture to fit with them better in place of the brushed metal. something like this
