I don't think anyone is disputing that he should be in. I don't see anyone suggesting that he shouldn't be in because of 'baggage'.
But he shouldn't attend a HOF ceremony until he's physically and mentally able to. It's well documented that he missed HBK's induction because he didn't want to put himself in an environment where he could be tempted into slipping and drink profusely again.

Also that day probably will be he's proudest day of his life.Going there with his current problem he won't show HOF image to the people

Just because Svage isn't in that doesn't mean that the WWE HOF has no credibility

I agree with this, Bruno isn't in the HOF either as well as many others that should have their place in the WWE HOF. I think what sort of makes the WWE HOF a joke is guys like Pete Rose and Drew Carey are in there even if it's the so-called "celebrity wing". Sorry but those are two that don't deserve to be in there. And that's just a small sample. Problem is they try to induct way too many into the HOF.

After Savage gets in, they'll just take to bitching that he wasn't inducted when he was still alive or they'll start zeroing in on some other name's absence as proof that it's still not credible. People just like to tear things down for the sake of tearing things down.

If the thing doesn't have credibility, though, it's curious that so many take umbrage when their heroes don't get in. If they really believed in what they were saying, all sorts of fucks wouldn't be given. They certainly wouldn't bother mustering the online animus that flows from them like water.

The whole idea that a company needs "credibility" to recognize the accomplishments of people that they want to recognize is a bit silly, anyways. There are more important things for people to pound their keyboards over, but I digress.
