Saturday Morning Slam could really help WWE
I was in my room cleaning while my kids(8 Year old twins and a 4 Year old) were watching Slam. They come running up the stairs yelling, daddy daddy we saw who did Ultimate Warrior and Stone Cold music, i was like who? They said Jim Johnson it was so cool daddy he was in a studio with his guitar and he played the music. I told them thats cool guys. So monday came along and kane came out and they said hey daddy, Jim Johnson played his music too, They where so excited. This could lead to something big for WWE because its giving the kids an entertainment and WWE history, which is important because when a legend comes out they know who they are and the background, I remember one show they did Superstars from 80 countries and they should where al the stars are from going way back to the likes of the Wild Samoans and Andre the Giant. i think its a great show cause it reminds the old heads of the glory days and the young folks the history of how wwe was built.Last edited by Jamaal Mayes; 10-18-2012 at 03:06 PM.

10-19-2012, 03:52 PM #7Yeah I think it's a great idea for small children. I still don't see any difference in today's show as opposed to when I watched WWE as a small child (I was about 4 in 91). Watching back old episodes on youtube, I sometimes wonder why I thought Hogan and Warrior were amazing.. I also think most of the "golden age" was far less entertaining and FAR cheesier than some of the things WWE puts out today. Imagine WWE did a "piledriver pt. 2" album? You'd get thread after thread saying WWE were a sinking ship because they are "trying to make music that sucks" like you do with Films.
Anyways, SMS sounds like it's not only teaching WWE history, but also showing some signs of being slightly educational, which is always a good thing for young children. It's showing them History (even if it's just wrestling) can be interesting and the country thing would give them a way to learn some basic geography through associating countries with wrestlers. I just let the marks cry about that show, but I think it's actually a great idea to have a show that is aimed JUST at small children.
