You've gotta admit though, they need an unpredictable swerve. I know there's talk of lesner costing ryback but in all honesty I'd rather sit through a 2 hour iron man match between the big show and del rio....:L I hate lesner! But I'll save that for later

Even in the rare event that The Rock attacks Ryback and gets CM Punk the win, I don't see him aligning with Punk. I think they would follow the "Punk, I want you at the Rumble" approach. So the Rock is essentially picking his own opponent, putting the ball in his own court.
