By this I am speaking more towards what it was with the best of series with Tully/Magnum, the likes of Barry Windham, Rick Flair, William Regal, Pillman, The Cruiser Weight Division etc... WCW didn't have the "mega-super-star" draws like Hogan, Austin, and Cena, but in the south it wasn't about watching for one big name star, it was about watching athletes that put on solid performances. WCW might be a laughing stock to many wrestling fans these days (mostly due to some horrible story lines), but the matches were always appreciated here in the South; hence why I find TNA so much more enjoyable than WWE. I don't base my opinion off of what the writers can put in the script, but rather what the wrestlers can do in the ring. That is why they call it wrestling after all.
