Who is Fandangoo ?

Horrible video package, horrible gimmick, horrible name.. I can't see why they feel a ballroom dancer would be interesting for a character.. But who knows, some people can run with a shitty gimmick and take it lightyears away (undertaker)..

When I first saw the vignette I immediately thought it was Dean Ambrose, Vince loves screwing with the IWC and their flavour of the month after all! But yeah, it's Curtis, i'm sure of that after reading a few articles about his ballroom dancing gimmick, plus i'm 90% certain that was Curtis' voice in the video.

It has to be Johnny curtis he has been doing a gimmick similar to this. And here i was thinking a tag team between him and McGillicutty would be excellent.

Fandangoo could quite honestly be the final nail in the coffin for me. I wish he would come out as Fandangoo and do a WCW Seven-like shoot on how stupid the character and creative are. With Vince on TV lately, Vince can come out and either praise him for having the balls to do that, going against the grain and all of that, or try and get him to relax and spend some quality time in the ring with another dancer... a prehistoric one, and out comes Brodus Clay. They could insist on calling him Fandangoo and then he can have Daniel Bryan-like tantrums when called that, refusing his name.

I don't know, if they're actually trying to seriously push this character like Brodus Clay I might be done with watching this shit on a weekly basis. I spent most of yesterday just listening to RAW and not watching it. 3MB, Brodus Clay and Fandangoo... the crop of guys coming up, I mean Jesus Christ.

I was on the way back from a piss break and thought this was just an advert for some new show on Sky. Fandangoo is such a stupid name but if anyone can pull off this gimmick it's Curtis and I'm pleased he's finally getting called up to the main roster. I'll wait and see.
