Solid point. All the more reason I think The Rock wins it at the Rumble, and drops it to Cena at Mania. Cena and Rock end their feud 1-1, Cena gets his Mania moment verse the Rock, and everyone is happy (minus Cena haters).

IMO, a rock heel turn after a loss at royal rumble would be a REALLY entertaining storyline

A heel Rock can also work after he wins the WWE title from CM Punk at the Royal Rumble. He doesn't have to turn heel to make his WWE title run more interesting but it would be amazing to see how it unfolds. Have him carry WWE title around while he promotes GI Joe or Fast 6, making via satellite appearances with the WWE title and rubbing it in the faces of CM Punk and John Cena. Have him do media appearances like the Tonight Show with Jay Leno or Entertainment Tonight and just brag about himself and how hes "re-inventing" the wrestling business again while being a big Hollywood movie star.

Also, with the news of him landing a major role in the forthcoming movie Hercules, it would be amazing if hes able to take a picture of himself holding the WWE title while on set for the Hercules movie. If WWE can pull this off, it would add a lot to the build-up to his feud with Cena and would certainly piss off a lot of wrestling fans. It would work greatly for Rock in his heel persona. It may even top his Hollywood Rock stuff from 2003.

They don't even have to make The Rock a heel for this to work but it would certainly make Cena vs Rock II much more significant.
