Ever thought of what it would be?

WWE Officials & Creative said that with his return after Summerslam, his whole program was already decided and would be a return with an impact. Well untill now, I don't see his return have an impact or have won anything huge. Now what would his 'Barrage' be?

Could it be that he just will have a massive single's competion winning streak leading into a Royal Rumble victory? And eventually his first WWE or World Title victory?

I think his massive impact will be to win the RR they are slowly building up to it but it won't payoff until the end of January. Its a slow build which you don't see much of anymore which is a shame.

Yea, I've been surprised at his impact (or lack there of) since returning. He had a ton of momentum approaching Mania 28 before that injury, it's a shame he didn't pick up where he left off. He's being utilized as a playing chip lately, not as a hand of cards. By that odd analogy, I mean he is acting as a filler - putting on some great matches - but none of them contributing to a storyine he's involved with.

When those promo vids for him starting popping up, I was really pleased to see they were making a big deal about his return. Then he just popped up on a routine Smackdown and didn't make much of a splash. I expected him to get involved in an upper-card feud almost right away. I would've been really excited to see him pop-up at a PPV and destroy Sheamus post-match. Hopefully they are saving that feud for the near future.

Oh well, he looks great since his return and hasn't lost a step in the ring or on the mic. He'll be main eventing eventually.

I'd say he's one of the front runners to win the Rumble. He's definitely up there as the early favorites I'd say. If he wins that, then he's got a guaranteed title shot at Mania, which is definitely an impact of sorts.

i dont think he'll win the rumble... from what ive read, the wwe want ziggler/orton to feud around wrestlemania for the WHC, and theres no way they'd put barrett in WWE title picture, thats allready convoluted enough with rock coming back at the rumble and ryback sniffing around.

Orton or punk will win it (IMO), depending on what they decide to do with rock/punk/cena

it is a shame though, sheamus and barrett for the WHC at wrestlemania would be tasty!

Well as far as I know, and we can be sure about it, WWE never really plans long term. (Except Rock/Punk/Brock/Cena this year) You're right about the WWE title part. There is indeed no way that they'll add him in that mix. But as far as the WHC picture goes. It can still change today, tomorrow, heck... a month before 'Mania. So we'll just see.
