for real? I didn't get to watch it cause I decided to watch Raw, so Im going to DL it to watch. Thats sad to hear tho

I think the show has gone well beyond not-what-it-used-to-be to just a flat-out hard show to watch now. If I wasn't already 7 seasons deep, there's no way I would even continue bothering with something so thoroughly sub-par.

I normally would defend it... but the episode was just a rehash of their old ideas. the ending was very predictable.. and they turned their one upside this season (robin) into arguable the worst part of the episode.

Oh, and last night's Boardwalk Empire was one of the finest pieces of television of all 2012. Like other elite series, it somehow manages to just get better and better as it goes. From the writing to the acting, it's all just so fucking superlative.
