My thoughts and prayers go out to Wilko Johnson from Game of Thrones. He was diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer and is not going to get kemo treatment. He is in Japan touring and working on a new album and tour for his band Dr. Feelgood. Hope he gets what he is looking for before he passes.

New season of Justified is off to a good start. While it was really cool to see Patton Oswalt join the cast, my interest was most piqued by Joseph Mazzello (little Tim from Jurassic Park) as the snake-handling tent preacher. Seeing that kid all grown up made me feel old as fuck.

He was actually one of the central parts in that fantastic HBO miniseries The Pacific.

So tonights episode of TBBT was actually kind of sad. The scenes with the girls were a little funny, but I'm pondering where they are taking Sheldon's character, or if this was just a one time thing

Looking at IMDB, he has been in quite a few things even starred in Star Kid (I know that movie was terrible but I thought it was great when I was a kid), The Social Network and is going to be in the new GI Joe

In all honesty, the stuff involving Penny, Amy, and Bernadette has been the strongest of the material this year; the plots involving the guys have generally felt like Big Bang fan-fiction. And whacky Sheldon is, well, kind of whack.
