Yeah, I tried to give The IT Crowd a watch after a bunch of friends gushed over it, and I was surprised to find it was every bit the mediocre laugh-tracker that one would find on all of the channels here in the states. It was almost as if the charming accents had fooled people, who otherwise had good taste, into thinking the show was something other than it was.

"No, it's different from other sitcoms, I swear! You have to see it!"

Mitchell and Webb are really good. Peep Show is really good and their comedy sketch character Sir Digby Chicken Caeser is brilliant.

Peep Show was great. It ran a bit longer than it should have though. What series are they on now, Like 9 or something? I've seen a couple of episodes of Sir chicken, and the other sketch show they did that Mitchell and Webb look, and honestly didn't really care for them.

And a few of the IT Crowd guys show up in 'The Mighty Boosh' which is pretty random, outhere kind of humour, but worth checking out if you haven't already

Yeah, I've watched Black's Books, love it, also like Spaced, Keeping Up Appearances, Black Adder, and a few others that I am too tired to remember the names of.

If you don't mind/can understand the scottish accent, then a comedy show called Still Game is quality.

I just picked a random episode, but they are all great and every episode is on youtube.
