I just popped in to see if anyone had been talking about Shameless, and, yep, there's my BFAM singing its praises, lol.

The shows first two seasons were an attack on the emotions, and had me in stitches one minute, and bravely stiffling a man tear the next. Emmy in the buff is an amazing bonus, but the show holds way more than enough merit to stand on its own. I've only seen the first two episodes of this season, but so far I feel that it's safe to say that this season will be the best yet. Franks journey from Mexico to the US was some of the best TV that the show's produced to date. Gonna catch up with episodes three and four once four hits those glorious torentz

From the reviews it seems as though this might be a new cash cow for FX if the ratings hold consistant and the writing remains as interesting as everyone is saying it is. I haven't seen it for myself; just wondering if anyone has.

Remember the Thanksgiving episode from last season? Holy shit, man. That's one of the finest crafted hours of television I've ever seen. Broke me right in half.

Joan Cusack deserved every part of her two Emmy Nominations for the part of Sheila (though I don't understand why she's still considered a guest actor when she's in every episode), but it's almost criminal how little recognition William H. Macy and Emmy Rossum get for their work on the show. Rossum, in particular, is doing the most fearless work I've seen from an actress since Vicky McClure's turn in This Is England '86 (and '88 too, for that matter).

I have it and haven't watched it yet and then I started watching some of the series and thought, hang on a second, I don't want to get ahead of myself, so I stopped watching it. I'll have to check out the movie this weekend.
