So looking back at the 2011-2012 season, here are some thoughts.

Favorite new show: Person of Interest
Least Liked New Show that wasn't cancelled: Whitney
Happiest Renewal: Happy Ending or Touch
Should have been cancelled: Cougar Town
Newest Show for 2012-2013 I'm looking forward to: Either Revolution or Go On

It took them a couple of episodes, but I think the show really found its groove. Love the chemistry amongst the cast, too.

I like Zooey, don't get me wrong, but am I the only one who thinks that show might have worked (better) without her? She's far too quirky to be watched on a weekly basis IMO. I know some people are a sucker for certain people or pretty faces but that's just not enough for me with her. I think I prefer watching her sister and Zooey as an occasional guest on her show, to be honest. But I will agree, the cast has great chemistry and it's better than a lot of the pus out there

Well, technically it was cancelled by ABC. It just got a second chance at life on TBS.

But why on earth should it have been cancelled altogether? Please don't tell me you think others should be deprived of something just because said thing doesn't appeal to you. That's silly.

I'm fine with her, actually. People go on about how grating her quirkiness is, but it just doesn't seem to phase me at all. Most of my friends are quirky hipsters, though, so maybe that has something to do with it.

I like courtney cox as an actor. Loved her on friends, and her brief stint on scrubs, but on cougar town she just seems blah. I am also a fan of the creator, bill lawrence, with his previous work(scrubs). Now I know lawrence has stepped away as the show runner so hopefully in 2013-2014 we get something good from him, and my logic with cougar town being cancelled is it frees courtney cox up for a better role. Look at matthew perry. He had the show mr sunshine last year on abc. I loved that show but it was cancelled. Thankfully, perry now has a chance at another tv series, Go On, which from the trailer looks extremely good.

Im using the logic that while he may still be involved in the show in some capacity, by no longer being the show runner it frees up some of his time that he could work on a pilot for the 2013-2014 season. Have you seen the trailers for the cws cult or fox's the following?

I haven't seen a trailer for the CW show, but I caught the one for The Following. Looks alright. Not sure I see a show about serial killers really being done justice on friggin' FOX, but I'm a big fan of Kevin Bacon so I'll at least give it a shot.

I think the most promising new show that I've seen a preview for is Vegas, with sheriff Dennis Quaid squaring off against a mobbed-out Michael Chiklis. Oh, and did I mention that it's written by the guy who wrote Goodfellas and Casino? Yeah, that's all I need to hear.

I don't know how to react to that. Where I live, hipsters are a fairly detestable bunch that seem to place themselves apart from normal society.....but I suppose it's better that than goths.

I think The Following's success will be determined by the timeslot it gets. My guess is The Mob Doctor at 9 on Mondays, will fall flat, and The Following will go there, or, it will go in the place of Fringe at 9 on fridays.
