It was a funny moment for sure, but I'm not quite seeing the genius part. If anything was superlative about the scene, it was that Mike, a man with a code, sat by that river as the grass blew gently, the sun danced across the water, and his life just quietly slipped away from him. Motherfucker went out like a straight samurai.

I can't even explain why it was so great, Its like Walts semi apology, regrets shooting him but he's still alittle happy because Mikes out of the way now, Mikes so pissed he tells him to shut the fuck up,Lol it just fits Breaking Bad's style of awesomeness thriller drama with humour.

And yeah, the ending was jus as good as the opening, The cinematography was just class.

See, now this to me was a more telling moment than the comment about Lydia; even in death, Mike still doesn't have a shred of respect for Walt. Nobody does. Do people respect Heisenberg? Yeah, definitely. But Walter White? Fuck no. He's the cancer.

Mike had to go anyways, he lost ambition and wanted out, and that kind of shit can't be around Walts empire building.

Another great scene was at the dinner table where Skylar walks off so casually while Walt is half way through his sentence. Lol and then a brilliant Cut to Walt fake crying to Hank.

Dude didn't lose his ambition, like, at all. The writing was on the wall in regards to everything that Walt touches turning to shit, and Mike was reacting accordingly.

Oh come on, the man has his flaws (big flaws) but I've watched this guy come from being a pussy to a boss. And now I need to watch Walt become the ultimate don who the cartels fear. And then Maybe after that my darg Jesse can kill him but until then I'm supporting Walt in his mission to the top of the world.

Flaws? He's an egomaniacal sociopath, dude. Yeah, a good part of the allure of the show is seeing the transformation from milquetoast chemistry teacher to straight up gangsta, but there's something seriously wrong with the people (and this isn't directed at you) who are actually rationalizing his behavior. I've seen some shit said on other message boards that actually sort of makes me weep for humanity. I mean, there are people who actually think Walt is in the right. That's cray cray.

But I'm not talking about actual life morality and right and wrong because it's just entertainment and I'm speaking purely from that basis, which is why I want Walt to succeed. It's so crazy to actually think about how he is now compared to how good his intention were at the start.

Red Dwarf X starts here in the UK on October 4th and I for one can not wait, I just hope it has the quality of the earlier seasons as opposed to the special Back To Earth.
