I've got to be honest: This season's slate of new offerings is pretty abysmal. As a matter of fact, the only show that I'm really anticipating now is Last Resort on ABC, and that's because it stars Andre Braugher (a god among actors) and was created by Shawn Ryan (creator of, like, my favorite show ever, The Shield).

FOX's serial killer show with Kevin Bacon might have promise, too, but part of me is afraid that it will just end up being well-done but formulaic drivel in the same vein as House or, even worse, sloppily-written garbage like the last couple of seasons of the once-great Dexter.

That's the show that looks somewhat similar to The Following, minus the production values, yeah? I actually just got done reading an advanced review of the pilot the other day and it wasn't particularly favorable. But it was just one person's opinion, and it's only the pilot. Might be one to keep an eye on, I guess.

revolution looks like it could be an interesting show. at least for a season or so.

What's great is that the show is so abundant with rich, compelling characters that __________'s absence was barely even felt in the Season 3 opener. Just business as usual.

If I didn't have lesson tomorrow I would watch the emmy's, but anyways, I better see New Girl and Zooey win with all the emmy's they're up for by the time I wake up, or else I'm starting a riot.

Predictions for fun: Mad Men to win best series, Cranston to win best actor, Gus from BB for supporting actor, Joan from Mad Men for supporting actress.

Boardwalk Empire season 3 has just started over here and its off to a good start.

I have the first episode of a show called Continuum on my Sky Plus ready to watch, has anybody caught any of it yet?

So, like, Dexter's premiere last night was a marked improvement over anything from Seasons 5 & 6, so I'm trying to stay positive. But they still have him doing the most asinine shit possible. I mean, kill rooms at the busiest airport in Miami? Seriously?
