No mate. Money gets you girls. So, money + architect = girls. It's not like he's a freaking pilot - that's a job that turns women on. But if you ever plan on using 'architect' to pick up girls - don't. May as well say you're a sanitation officer.

Well my naivety convinced me girls over here love prestige and status, and that's what being a architect gives, right?

It might get you prestige and status but only if you're successful at it, which most likely means you've made decent money from it. Don't ever for one second believe the idea of someone saying to you "Oh if you lost it all tomorrow, I'd still be here and love you" because that, my friend, is a fairytale. You can have all the kudos and prestige in the world but without the ability to surround yourself in nice things, you'll only be marginally attractive. Getting girls is pretty easy - keeping them is the hard part. "Love" is not enough.
Girls want prestige and status - but only if you can SEE it, TOUCH it, SPEND it and show it off.

Ahh a top 5 might be difficult to pick for HIMYM, but if i had to say its strengths, it would be: decent comedy, loveable characters and great editing, the girls, and the connection between all the episodes of who the mother is.
