Go the Ronnie Barker comedies. I must admit I loved Keeping Up Appearances (not that that was a Ronnie Barker show, I know, just loved it) The Old Guys is pretty funny and I have been watching My Family lately too

Im really into comedies old English such as only fools, rising damp, porridge etc
Also love american comedies such as king of queens, my wife and kids and everybody loves Ramond. Watch the middle at the minute which is looking good.
Any of you guys across the pond know of any comedies over there i should be watching out for?

Summer Heights High was fantastic. Very funny! His characters were great, my favourite being Mr G and then closely followed by Jonah. I used to impersonate Jonah all the time and tell people to "fock off!" it was classic if I do say so myself! It only had 1 series though didnt it? Why is that? Or are they making more or is he just working on new projects?
I love anything Bear Grylls does! The man is just a legend! Eats anything lol.
I was going to mention that new Sherlock Holmes show a few days ago. I really liked it. I think it worked really well in the modern environment, and that Benedict Cumberbatch is good as Holmes. Also Martin Freeman as Watson is really good, and having him as a wounded in Afghanistan, Army Doctor, was very good, as in the original Sherlock Holmes' Dr Watson had returned from war in Afghanistan. Any new series should be really good also.

Summer Heights High had only one season yes, but it grew out of We Can Be Heroes which had the character Ja'mie in it plus some more Chris Lilley gems. He's got a new HBO funded series about to come out called Angry Boys, so watch out for that.

Hello SHOWERHEADS and SPRINKLERS of all ages. Please allow me to give my infinite wisdom on this matter. I can't believe I didn't remember this before but one of the greatest shows on tv is on bbc 2 it's called Louis Theroux's Weird weekends. He is without a doubt the best host EVER. He goes and lives with Nazis to religious freaks for a weekend and tries to understand them. One of the best episodes is when he goes and stays with the most hated family in America. They are the people that stand on the side of the road with signs that say "God Hates Fags." They also protest at dead soldiers funerals. Its sad how they teach their kids hate. But through out it all Louis keeps you entertained and he even tries to become a gansta rapper in one episode. You should have no problems finding them on google.
Highly recommended!!!!!

^ Louis Theroux is a national treasure, he still makes captivating documentaries from time to time. There's an episode of Weird Weekends where he visits WCW, it's quite fun.

I've been watching Treme over the past few days. I knew it would be a good show given that David Simon is behind it, but I didn't expect it to be handled with such... dignity? (can't think of the appropriate word right now) Fantastic stuff.
