Thanks for that, 'Droops! I also hated Vamp Diaries in a big way. The two shows are about as different as Superman and Batman, so it's possible you'd prefer the darker, more edgy feel of TB.

And, now you're putting the pressure on me to watch The Wire as well, I think I'll be giving it a whirl sooner rather than later.

@Ape, thanks for the info, and it was basically what I was expecting. I just IMDb'd it and, wow, there is seven seasons! That's a lot of catching up, man. I think I'll at least watch the first season as I noticed that they were only half hour episodes, and that somehow seems more bearable.

Speaking of half hour episodes.

Guys, after watching over three hours of Louis C.K stand up comedy, I'm just about to watch Louie, episode one. Yes, he's that damn good that I want more after a marathon of his incredible style of comedy. Genius indeed.

How fricken Insane was the ending of the last episode of this season of Game of Thrones. Wow. Kalesee is my favourite character on the show behind Tyrion, and that scene stole the show. And.... I got my Dragons. Great first season, but, wow, it's going to be a long time coming until the next season starts.

Speaking of the next season, I wonder if it'll feature these White Walker things they keep talking about.

Gutted that it is over for a while!! Stories have just begun! It was good though! It was all about setting up the next season to show where it's going to kick off, the little teasing bastaaads!! Dragons is gonna be cool!

"The King of North! The King of the North!!..." I'm liking the Rob, and the Starks story!

But I think what I like the most is Snow and the people of the Wall. And their dealings with North of the Wall. I really want to see more of those things we saw in the first episode, and yes Kash, the White Walkers, were they White Walkers? And the coming of the Long Winter/Night(?)!

It's all gonna kick off!

Plus, I fucking hate Joffrey, what a cunt!!

It's weird that you wasn't sure if they were White Walkers. I wasn't too sure either. But they are. I just watched it again hahaha!!

After watching the final scene again; I have to wonder. Which one of those Dragons should be the one to eat Joffrey. I reckon the red one.

Jack Gleeson is doing a great fookin job of portraying a smug little piss-pants, thats for sure.

Nicholas lindhusrt is married to a woman who was friends with my wife. I saw him a month ago in our local shop (his wifes family live near me) and was like a kid on Xmas morning! I loved OFAH. I didn't say anything to him, just gave him an embarrassing grin and said alright mate. He grinned back and said alright.

So.... The weirdest thing happened. I was watching The Invention of Lying, and who should I see in the role of Ricky's buddy but Louis CK!!!

I watched the whole of season one of Louie, and just watched the first episode of the second season. The amount of funny packed into that show is unbelievable, and the whole concept of it is something special.... Man, is he funny! I've also watched a few of his stand up specials, and I just can't get enough of this stupidly hilarious genius of a comedian. I've even just purchased Lucky Louie off of Amazon!! See, I told you I'm obsessive!

I watched the first season of HBO series The Wire and it was actually pretty engrossing. I was kind of surprised since I am not really that much of a police drama person. Does anybody recommend watching the other seasons or is it essentially more of the same? Is season one the best or does it get better?

The Wire has been on my to watch list for ages now, but all these comedy shows just keep on jumping the cue. Still, watch it I must!!!
