In all seriousness what I'd like to see is the Shield be unbiased and cost Punk the belt at the RR. I know they are a heel group but if they were to start attacking heels along with faces it would give them something fresh kind of. It would be different than the Nexus, of which I currently associate them with
.....& then it all became so clear. The Shield + C.M. Punk + Paul Heyman = 4 Horsemen-esque heel faction!!!! Even if you wanted to throw Brad Maddox in the mix so it's not exactly configured like The Horsemen, this idea could work.
Punk can be the leader...the Ric Flair, if you will....& Paul Heyman is the J.J. Dillion mastermind behind it all. Just like Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard & insert 4th member (Ole Anderson, Lex Luger, Barry Windham, ect.), Ambrose, Rollins, Maddox & Reigns can be viable contenders for the U.S., Tag, & IC titles.
If you ever wanted to break someone away from the faction (or add a member, for that matter), there would be a myriad of ways to do so. I would love to see a long-term (maybe 2 years??) run with this faction, which gives Ambrose, Rollins, Maddox & Reigns time to earn their main roster dues, develop their characters fully & totally acclimate themselves with the WWE Universe. Can you imagine after a long, successful run, then a tumultuous break-up, the great matches we could get between all of these guys. Whoever is not salivating at the thought of the eventual Punk v. Rollins feud is definitely on the wrong website.
If done properly, this could be the best faction since Evolution. BTW, how'd those new guys in Evolution end up turning out?? Not bad, I would say...
