I am seeing these kind of comments on this forum. As a matter of fact not just on this forum but on whole of Internet..n one fellow has even wrote something like "Jinder Mahal in rock band?? In his community he'll be beheaded for it"...

My question is why people think like that?? some people on you tube have even posted hatred towards Jinder Mahal and his turban...

Many folks called him poor man's Muhammad Hassan...I never felt he's similar to Muhammad Hassan..I do not know whether I have missed any of his earlier promos but I never felt him as a Muhammad hassan...

Can any one explain me or make me realise why he's "A poor man's Muhammad Hassan" or why people feel a man with turban can't be in a music band or why some of the folks think he'll be beheaded in his community for being in a band"???

I couldn't agree with you more. I don't get the Muhammed Hassan comparison (who couldn't hold a candle to the Iron Sheik btw, but try convincing these post attitude era marks that!).

Admittedly, I've never seen a turban in a band. And the turban, like the burkha or the yarmulke are very synonymous with a certain image in peoples minds. But try not to let it get to you. There's haters everywhere and mostly what they say is bull anyway.

People in US have not seen turban in bands...but for us in India it is a different case..the most super hit pop albums are from Turbaned guys..

I understand that people have certain image of a guy with turban..my only intention of starting this thread to make ppl understand that Turban is not just a Talibani thing..even many people from other cultures also wear a turban...

I thought Muhammad was an impressive heel. Him and Daivari worked so well together. As for Jinder Mahal.. I admit that it was weird to me at first.

I was unaware of hate for jinder I find his new gimmick to be hilarious. What I learned from my time arguing with racist/or other extreme people is that letting their ignorance bother you will just make you sad, don't allow their shallow ways to bother you.

I dont mind him in 3MB but he doesnt fit in at all.. the turban ruins the image, its weird almost like when Jesse ( of Jesse & Festus) became Slammaster J
