Jindar Mahal is a Hindu Sikh and he has nothing to do with rock n roll..Rock is a life style and people in the rock music community would hate him because they will instantly recognize that this guy knows shit about what he is doing..I could not imagine him as a rock start even in my dreams...Kurt Hawkins is much better look for a rock star...Jindar was much better in his original Punjabi/English speaking gimmick, I am a native Punjabi myself and I actually enjoyed his early Punjabi/English mix promos. He was someone with whom fans of Indiani and Pakistani Punjab could really connect...In his promos he was portraying the anger in native Punjabi style very very well.
n coming to ROCK Music, Punjabis also had a chance at their own version of Rock Music...btw, my intention to start this thread is not to know whether he's good in 3MB or not but the fetish towards his Turban....
The problem with his Punjabi/English speaking gimmick is, not many can understand Punjabi (not just in US but also in India...ofcourse the Punjabi he used was not too heavy though)....
n one more correction there is no term called Indiani lols..It should be Indian....
