Another Wade Barrett Intercontinental title reign: Yes or no?

After picking up an impressive victory over Kofi Kingston last Monday on Raw, it looks like Kofi Kingston and Wade Barrett will feud over the Intercontinental title. It's great for both Kofi Kingston and Wade Barrett more so since they need a credible feud right now. I'm looking forward to seeing them feud over the Intercontinental title.

The question I have is, would you like to see Wade Barrett once again capture the Intercontinental title from Kofi Kingston or would you rather see him get elevated to the main event scene already?

Personally, another Intercontinental title reign from Wade Barrett wouldn't hurt. I think his feud with Kofi Kingston over the Intercontinental title can be a chance to build a long-term feud leading towards Wrestlemania 29. It will be a great way to build a meaningful feud over the Intercontinental title and to give both Barrett and Kingston something to do at Wrestlemania 29.

With The Rock coming involved with the WWE title and the WHC having a money in the bank case riding on it I rather Wade didn't get to the main event scene until after WM, so an IC title win would be good, especially if he could keep it in to his top tier title to and then set up a tournament for it after

agree with this, i cant see anything interesting for him in this time of the year, maybe after mania he can get his shot, but i think his fisrt world title will be won with a mitb briefcase

I would be down for a long drawn out feud for the IC belt between Barrett and Kingston. God knows how long it's been since the IC belt actually meant something BIG other than being the best mediocre wrestler, king of the mid carders. And we haven't had a nice LONG personal feud over it ala Greg Valentine vs Tito Santana in decades. It could end at WM in a cage. That's be nice for a change.

Was Barrett's first IC run before or after big zeke? It was around then I think. It was definitely before Cody Rhodes made it matter again.
Personally I think it's a good thing, like robstar said keep him on high simmer.

Well, it's good for Barrett to start somewhere again. A nice clean win over Kingston with the title on the line and a good lenghty run with it would be good for him. This way he can continue to deliver big time performances, before going to the WWE/WHC picture after Wrestlemania.

If it gives him direction and keeps him in the upper mid card until they are ready to push him onto main event, then I'm all for it.
